Square has updated its app to include support for cash drawers as well as printing receipts.

Square now seamlessly integrates with your cash drawer and receipt printer. With a single tap on your iPad, print detailed receipts or open your cash drawer to make change.

The recommended receipt printers as of right now are the Star TSP143LAN or Star TSP650.

The recommended cash drawers are Vasario 1416 or Vasario 1616.

Square has set up a a whole page here to show how to easily set up the hardware to the Square app.

The update also includes the capability to reward regulars by automatically adding a discount to their purchase after buying items so many times.
