AppAdvice has found an interesting string located inside the latest beta of iTunes.
If you look above you can see it mentions the following phrase:
Apps are automatically removed from your iTunes library at the end of the rental period.
Apple has no current service where this phrase seems to fit in so a rental service announcement may coming tomorrow alongside the iPhone 4s/iPhone 5 announcement.
