We previously reported that the initially waves of iPad 2 orders were only going to take about 3-5 days shipping. It quickly escalated to 3-4 weeks and it now at an all time high at 4-5 weeks. It’s important to note that this is all models, not just one in particular.

The iPad 2 has only been available for 4 days and it looks as if the low supply and high demand won’t be letting up any time soon.

Retail store Best Buy has in some locations started to take down names of interested customers and will call them once the model they’ve requested arrives and is ready for purchase.

We here have noticed first hand that people start lining up at Apple Stores as early as 7-8 AM in hopes Apple retail stores will receive shipments.
