Engadget is reporting that the iPad 2 will in fact have a dedicated SD slot and no USB slot (look at the mock up above). It will have a high pixel density screen and being running a new multi core A5 processor based on the Cortex A9. The next iPad will have a Qualcomm chipset capable of CDMA/GSM/UMTS, no LTE. It will be able to push 1080p video “like running water”.
